Maintenance Data & CMMS Services

Reliable maintenance starts with reliable data.

NJCOY creates, structures and develops maintenance data for CMMS and EAM systems, supporting both new industrial projects and existing production facilities.

Our work covers technical hierarchies, maintenance plans, criticality, spare parts, equipment information and documentation, always structured according to the customer’s requirements and operating environment.

Why maintenance data has to be right from day one

On a new build, maintenance data is created long before the plant starts operating. Equipment suppliers provide tag lists, BOMs, spare parts information, manuals and maintenance recommendations. This information must then be structured and prepared for the owner’s CMMS or EAM system. What is handed over at project completion becomes the foundation for maintenance for years to come.

When the data is built correctly from the beginning, preventive maintenance is linked to the right assets, spare parts correspond to the installed equipment, technical structures support daily work and reliability reporting is based on consistent information.

If it isn’t, the cost compounds quickly:

  • PM tasks are linked to incorrect or non existing assets
  • BOMs and spare parts information do not match the as built equipment
  • Asset hierarchies are inconsistent between disciplines
  • Maintenance history and reporting become unreliable
  • The maintenance organization spends its first years correcting data that should have been ready at handover

Existing Data Development and Lifecycle Alignment:

We improve existing maintenance data to ensure it remains usable, accurate and aligned with changing operational and lifecycle requirements:

  • CMMS Data Crunching: Analyze existing data for a comprehensive understanding.
  • Technical Hierarchy Update: Enhance the technical hierarchy for improved clarity.
  • Criticality Analysis: Reevaluate criticality to align with evolving business needs.
  • Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plan Update: Fine-tune maintenance plans for optimal efficiency.
  • Spare Parts Linking Update: Keep your spare parts information current and accurate.
  • Device Cards Creation and Linking Update: Update and link device cards for real-time insights.
  • Document Linking Update: Ensure all relevant documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Project Management: Streamline project management processes within your CMMS.

On-Site Support:

We offer on-location support to address your specific needs, including:

  • Technical Data Verification: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of your technical data.
  • System Data Content and Structures: Optimize your system’s data content and structures for peak performance.
  • Implementing Preventive Maintenance Actions: Hands-on assistance in implementing proactive strategies.

Our specialists work directly on-site to verify that CMMS data reflects how maintenance is actually executed, not how it was originally planned.

Project to Operations Data Continuity:

Because we operate both in project execution and maintenance development, our data structures are designed to survive project handover.

We ensure that data created during engineering and projects can be directly utilized in operations, maintenance and future modifications – without rework or data loss.
